Bishop Dr. George Agbonson is originally from Edo State, but he was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Only by the grace of God was he miraculously delivered from the kingdom of darkness. From a demonic background of idolatry, the Devil held him hostage for many years. Only by the Grace of God was he saved under the auspices of Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel, Nigeria.

His journey in ministry started when he was commissioned by God with an Apostolic mantle to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world and bring deliverance to souls under satanic captivity. Apostle George had a seven-day encounter with heaven, during which he was uniquely graced by God with the prophetic anointing for deliverance and breakthrough.

God gave Apostle George a global vision to reach many for Christ and raise the saints for ministry as he unveils the mystery of restoration by faith through Christ Jesus. It was only a matter of time before the Lord relocated him to the USA through Bishop Bill Hamon, where he was trained as a Prophet-Apostle. He continued his prophetic ministry and revivals in several churches and states in the USA.

With decades of ministerial experience, Dr. George Agbonson faithfully served in various capacities in ministry: Youth Minister, Assistant Pastor, Prayer Ministry Minister, Evangelist, and Deliverance Minister under the Author of Life Ministry before his official ordination as a Prophet—evangelist to the Nations.

After his ordination by Bishop Herman Bower as a Reverend, he was appointed in the USA as a Regional Overseer. Rev. George Agbonson was eventually affirmed to the office of Apostle in Feb. 2011 as an Apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Nations through the World Missions Ministerial Association in Madison, AL. USA under the oversight of Apostle Dr. Veronica Johnson, where he currently sits on the Board of the Apostolic Team of Leaders. As an Apostle.

Dr George has planted several churches, hosted and preached in several crusades and conferences in different cities and nations across the globe, and served as a spiritual overseer and spiritual father over several churches and ministers under his Ministerial Fellowship, which he started by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

By God's Grace through the devotion & faithfulness to his calling & assignment, overcoming several ministry challenges, Apostle George Agbonson was elected as a Bishop in 2015 by the leading of the Holy Spirit and eventually consecrated in April 30, 2016 by the Joint College of Bishops in the USA under the oversight of Bishop Larry Boyd and Bishop Dr. Veronica Johnson as the Presiding Bishop of Christ Restoration Ministries International worldwide & Global Ministers & Churches Alliance.

Bishop Dr. George Agbonson is the Founder/Overseer of Christ Restoration Ministries International, which is an apostolic umbrella ministry with a global vision of "Reaching, Equipping & Releasing", with the message of restoration in Christ Jesus.
